Shelby Benny Reynolds is the founder and creative force driving Triple Threat Design Studio. Having lived abroad in Paris, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe, she is artistically influenced by her travels and her participation in cultural celebrations from around the globe. Shelby's hallmark is her endless enthusiasm, attention to detail, tireless work ethic and a strong understanding of how design relates to spatial environments and personal style.
She studied Public Relations and Journalism at Western Washington University, where she discovered her love for crafting peoples' unique stories. She studied Industrial Design in San Francisco developing a passion for spacial design.
No matter where her travels have taken her, Shelby has always called the Pacific Northwest home. A misty morning anywhere in the world has always drawn her heart back to family, friends and experiences unique to Seattle and its surroundings.
Living in San Francisco, Shelby gained a deep appreciation for grand affairs, with a strong emphasis on enhancing personal relationships through events.
After living in the city by the Bay, she moved across the Atlantic to Paris, where she studied at the Centre de Pompidou. She was selected to participate in a curated study with fellow expat designers. Life in the fashion capital of the world enhanced her love for personal style. Here she learned the art of a small dinner party, how to transform rental spaces into places that reflect their occupants, and, of course, how to really wear red lipstick (always with pale nails).
With a tireless work ethic, endless enthusiasm, and a strong understanding of how good design enhances all aspects of life, Shelby is thrilled to lead Triple Threat Design Studio.
